Flavours of sweet red cherry, sage, rose petal, blood orange and lavender make this wine strikingly aromatic. Savoury, wild and constantly evolving in the glass, this wine has a lot to offer.

From the upper plantings at the La Rinconada Vineyard, which neighbours the famous Sanford & Benedict Vineyard, consisting of deep, dark, rocky soils. Two thirds whole cluster is retained and fermented before ageing in 228L barriques, with 30% new oak.

Racines is a collaboration between Étienne de Montille of Domaine de Montille in Volnay and American-born winemaker Brian Sieve. A combination of world-famous vineyards and world-class winemaking makes this one of California’s most exciting, modern winemaking projects.
