Light golden hue. Yellow-fleshed fruit, slightly exotic, with notes of roasted sweetcorn and fresh butter. Lovely and round on entry with lovely density. 

The grapes producing “De l’Orée” come from “Les Murets” plot. This soil is made up with very old fluvioglacial alluvial deposits. The old vines 60 to 70 years old, guarantee low yields and a quality production.

The story began with Michel Chapoutier, a unique man with a thirst for knowledge, definitely one of a kind. Michel is openminded and always willing to learn. He seeks to discover and reflect the full potential of his terroirs and let the soils express their true character. That which gives the wines their signature style.
