Golden yellow colour, this wine has a unique profile with aromas of golden apple and quince as well as delicate notes of chamomile and hay. The palate is beautifully textured and crisp with a concentrated finish.

The fruit for this dry Furmint is sourced from the 30-year-old Turner vineyard. This sensitive variety requires a lot of attention. The sandy loam soils with gravel provide the best conditions for the variety and result in a mineral character in the finished wine. The site is managed under sustainable viticultural practices. No herbicides or insecticides are used, and local plants are used as cover crops.

Heidi Schröck has pioneered the role of women in the Austrian wine scene. Voted ‘Vintner of the Year’ by food and wine magazine Falstaff, Heidi also led an organisation dedicated to promoting female winemakers. As a result of her work, the number of women working in the Austrian wine industry has increased considerably.
