Bright, pale pink in colour with an expressive nose. Delicate yet intense aromas of red cherry and raspberry on the nose give a fresh and fruity profile. The palate is medium-bodied, well-balanced and rounded, with soft texture and a persistent finish.

The vineyards are located on the steep slopes of Alpera, overlooking the valley below. The soils here are ideally suited to producing high-quality grapes with excellent aromatic intensity and fruit expression. Planted at elevations between 800 and 1,100 metres above sea level, the vineyards benefit from a southeast exposure. The vines are trained using a combination of traditional bush vines and modern trellised systems, with a planting density of 4,000 to 5,000 vines per hectare.

The grapes were harvested at night to preserve their aromatic potential and minimise oxidation. After gentle destemming and crushing, fermentation took place without skins at a low temperature (around 16°C) to retain freshness, purity of colour, and vibrant fruit character.

Finca Fella, the Fantini group’s first project outside of Italy, is based in Almansa in the eastern corner of Castilla La Mancha. Winemaker Dennis Verdecchia was drawn to the region’s wealth of low-yielding, old bush vines.
