Region: Abruzzo, Italy

Vintage: 2025

Bottle size: 75cl

Grape: Merlot

ABV: 12.5%

This pale pink rosé shows fresh aromas of strawberries, watermelon and pink grapefruit with hints of rose petals. The palate shows delicate fruit aromas with a vibrant and refreshing acidity and hints of mineral notes on the finish.

The vineyards are situated at elevations between 70 and 200 metres above sea level, with west and south-west facing exposures. Vines are trained using the traditional tendone system at densities of 1,800–2,000 vines per hectare, supporting balanced vine growth and consistent fruit quality.

The grapes were hand-harvested at night to preserve freshness, then immediately pressed and rapidly cooled to –1°C under an inert atmosphere. The free-run juice was fermented in stainless-steel tanks at 10°C for 20 days to retain aromatic purity. Following a brief 30-day ageing on fine lees in tank, the wine was gently fined, filtered and bottled promptly to capture its fresh, vibrant character.

The Fantini group was founded in 1994 by Valentino Sciotti with the aim of producing top-quality wine from Abruzzo. The enterprise was so successful that the group expanded further south in Italy and its islands. Today, the Fantini group includes Cantina Diomede, Gran Sasso, Vesevo, Vigneti del Salento, Vigneti del Vulture, Tufarello, Zabù and Cantina Atzei, among others. Acclaimed winemaker and consultant Alberto Antonini oversees production, ensuring these wines offer great quality, varietal character and value. Their elegant and striking packaging makes them stand out on the shelf or table.
