La Cumbre shows a high layer purple-red colour. On the nose, aromas of rosemary, black pepper, meaty notes and ripe black fruits, all framed by soft notes of chocolate and dried fruits with floral and vanilla touches. In the mouth, notes of pastry, blueberries and a sweet finish. Its fine tannins together with excellent acidity make it a fresh and vibrant wine
La Cumbre represents Viña Errázuriz’s pioneering spirit when it introduced the Syrah variety to Chile in 1993. La Cumbre, which means in spanish “the summit”, is the best Syrah coming from Viña Errázuriz hillside vineyards in the Aconcagua Valley.
Errazuriz has been making wine since 1870, beginning in the Aconcagua Valley. The family have always believed that great wine starts in the vineyard. 5th generation, Eduardo Chadwick has continued the mantra by establishing Seña and Viñedo Chadwick as international world class wines in addition to the time-honoured Errazuriz portfolio of wines.
