This deeply coloured wine displays intense aromas of black cherry, blackberry and spicy notes. The concentrated palate is balanced beautifully by a vibrant acidity and well-integrated tannins. Les Fournières can be enjoyed now but will also benefit from ageing.

The 'Les Fournières' vineyard is situated right on the eastern fringe of Aloxe-Corton village, in the middle of the hill of Corton. The vines, planted between 40-50 years ago, grow on rocky limestone soils which lend an elegance to the wines, and are east-facing and guyot trained. Harvest is carried out entirely by hand.

Domaine Tollot-Beaut, in Chorey-lès-Beaune, was founded in 1880 by François Tollot and is now run by the family’s fifth generation, Nathalie Tollot and her two cousins, Olivier and Jean-Paul. Domaine Tollot-Beaut is famed for being among the first producers in the Côte d’Or to start domaine bottling in 1921.
