On the nose, this Crémant de Loire displays elegant wildflowers aromas with notes of buttered brioche. The palate opens with fine and creamy bubbles, bursting into a long and lingering finish.

The Crémant de Loire is made with fruits coming from multiple plots of both Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay growing on schist and sandstone.

The whole-bunches are slowly pressed, and the juice is left to settle before going in tank for the alcoholic fermentation. In February, the wine will be bottled with a crowned cap for the 2nd fermentation and will stay on the lees for the next 34 months. Disgorgement happened in December 2025 before bottling without dosage.

Emmanuel Ogereau, the dynamic young winemaker at the helm of Domaine Ogereau, is fast gaining a reputation for his precise, elegant and bone-dry Chenin Blanc. Having studied viticulture and oenology and gained winemaking experience in Central Otago and Oregon, Emmanuel returned to the family domaine in 2014. With the blessing of his father Vincent, he has taken the domaine in a new direction. In the vineyards, he has led the conversion to becoming both organic (certified since 2019) and biodynamic (certified since 2024). While in the winery, he has switched the focus from the sweet and red wines for which his father was renowned, to dry, site-specific Chenin
