One of the most important white wines in the appellation of the Touraine district. This wine is made from Chenin Blanc and in a dry style. The wine undergoes temperature controlled fermentation to retain its fresh structure and aromatic finish and is then matured on its lees for a further 6 months.

Since the end of the 18th Century, the family of the Comtes Lafond had the most important and most famous vineyards of Pouilly Fumé. Baron Patrick de Ladoucette, the great-grandson of Les Comtes Lafond, has continued their tradition of high quality and produces the great white wines of Ladoucette
