A gentle ruby-red colour wine. The aroma displays elegance on the nose, with floral aromas such as violets, cherry, raspberry and rosehips. The palate confirms its excellent flavour with a generous, ample opening framed by fine tannins and a refreshing acidity that prolongs the flavours to produce a long, smooth and elegant finish.

The ‘Arenaria’ is made from Pinot Noir grown in Pucalán, located eight kilometres from the sea in Aconcagua Costa. It is highly aromatic with cherry and raspberry notes and an earthy granite character.

The name ‘Clos des Fous’ is an ode to the 12 years that both Pedro and François spent studying and working in Burgundy, as well as to what their peers described as their ‘craziness’ in crossing the traditional Chilean vineyard boundaries to source grapes from those in the more extreme conditions further south and east.
