This wine is pale yellow with green hues. An intense nose of white peach and orange blossom. The palate is fresh with a pleasant roundness and a vibrant finish.

Château Fontarèche is surrounded by 120 hectares of vines, which are sustainably farmed. The fruit for this blend of Rolle, Sauvignon Blanc and Grenache Blanc are sourced from the vineyards classified as IGP, situated just across the road from the property. The average yield is eight tonnes per hectare. The vines sit on an ancient limestone terrace and are rooted in a combination of gravel and limestone soil covered by large pebbles which contributes a lifted freshness to the wine.

One of the most historic estates in the Languedoc, Château Fontarèche has been in the Mignard family since 1642 and is today owned by Jacques De Lamy. Winemaker Vincent Dubernet is the second generation of his family to make these wines, having taken over from his father as a consultant winemaker.
