Broad floral-toned strawberry aromas lead to medium-weight, fleshy and juicy berry fruit flavours underpinned by a lightly charred spiciness, vivid acidity and structured tannins; a generous wine.

The Monsordo-Bernardina estate is one of the places in Alba more suited to the production of great Nebbiolo. While on the border of the Barolo zone, soils and climate, for technical reasons, was not allowed inside the protected area from the prestigious designation. Today the vineyards around the historic farmhouse provide high quality grapes. Fermentations in stainless steel and ageing in old wood produces wines of great expressive potential, complex and long-lived, protected by D.O.C. Nebbiolo d’Alba.

In the late 80s the Ceretto family found an old farmstead in the outskirts of Alba, and gradually transformed it into its main offices. This estate, known as Monsordo Bernardina and historically linked to the love story between Vittorio Emanuele II and the beautiful Rosina, within a few years became the main hub of the company; here we carry out not only the activities associated with the production and refinement of some of the most important wine labels, but also the administrative and commercial activities, offices and warehouse. There are more than 30 hectares of vineyards that surround the farmstead, both traditional and international varieties, all grown under strong principles of environmental sustainability. Tradition at the house of Ceretto rhymes with innovation and here under creative forces, in 2009, The Grape (l’Acino) was created, a permanent installation overlooking the beautiful vineyards, which complements the modern space to welcome guests and promote the region.
