In the glass, this wine is an intense golden colour with a deep bouquet of complex fragrances including lychee, orange peel, roses and spiced notes of clove and nutmeg. On the palate, it is fresh with a vibrant acidity and finishes with lingering almond notes.

The vines are cultivated using the Guyot method and are planted in deep clay soils with a high percentage of pebbles at altitudes of between 350 and 650 metres above sea level. The vineyards, based in the municipalities of Montagna, Gleno, Pinzano and Mazzon, have south-western exposure.

The Haas family has been growing grapes in Montagna in the province of Bolzano for generations. However, it was only with Franz, who died prematurely in 2022, that they began to produce and bottle quality wines. Franz studied at Geisenheim in Germany before working as a broker of Italian wines in the German market. After several years, he took over the running of the family business.
