A layered and lightly chewy red with currant, orange peel and hints of hazelnut. Fine tannins. Some pine, cedar, graphite, black currant and iodine. Perfumed. Tannins turn fine and bright. Excellent length and serious tension.

Tailored winemaking for each varietal captures the personality of the vintage and vineyard blocks. Optical sorting, cold soaking, gentle pumpovers, and in-barrel malolactic fermentation contribute to the richly textured, complex flavors. Aging in 60% new French oak barrels for 22 months complemented the wine’s impressive depth and freshness.
