A Barbaresco with an exceptional balance between mature tannin and acidity, holding a strong character and solid structure. Delicate aromas of plum and ripe fruit make Starderi extremely enjoyable in youth, whilst expressing its maximum potential after a few years of bottle aging.

Vineyards in Starderi a Neive . Maceration and alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled vats for an average period of 14-15 days. Malolactic fermentation done in French oak barrels, in which 20% new and the remaining second passage; following by an aging of minimum 9 months. Then refined in the bottle.

Great wines require solid ideas, hard work and most importantly dedication. La Spinetta make a wine with international appeal but also one that was deeply linked to the Piedmont territory.
