Brilliant clear straw yellow. Powerful and complex nose. Strong notes of white owers. Delicate oak aromas. A clean supple attack. Very aromatic nish with pears and citrus fruits.
This appellation is situated on the west bank of the Northern Rhône and produces full-bodied whites from Marsanne and Roussanne. Part of the production comes from the famous estates of Grippat and Vallouit. Some of the wine is aged in used oak but a significant proportion in stainless steel tanks to retain the freshness and fruit character.
