1.5ha, 30-year-old organic vineyard, planted on clay-limestone and silt-clay soils. De-stemmed grapes are fermented in tanks. Following 10 days of post-fermentation maceration, the wine is then matured in tanks to preserve its fruity profile.

Sancerre is the birthplace of the house of Joseph Mellot, whose family history dates back to the early 16th century, with a certain Pierre-Etienne Mellot, the first in a long line of winemakers. The Sancerroise hill still guards the historic cellar, a place full of history.
