This wine is a beautiful violet in colour, typical of Dolcetto. On the nose are vivid notes of black cherry and assorted red fruit. The palate is fresh and crisp, with vibrant red fruit flavours and a lively acidity that lingers on the finish.
Fruit for the `Visadì` Dolcetto is sourced from three vineyards in Monforte d’Alba - Bricco San Pietro, Ginestra and Mosconi. Each vineyard has its own distinct character and geographical aspect, which results in an expressive and complex finished wine. Soils consist of Marne di Sant’Agata fossil marl, which is mainly fine and silty in composition with clayey sediments.
