The Fleurie Verchère reveals a fine elegance due to the sandy granitic soils and expresses a mix of floral (peony, faded rose) and fruit (strawberry, blackcurrant) aromas. On the palate the wine is well balanced, with a delicate finish of smooth tannins. 

The Burrier family’s association with the vineyards of southern Burgundy, which extends over a period of 5 centuries and 7 generations, has established them as one of the region’s most distinguished producers. Today, they own 60 hectares of vineyards in Mâconnais and Beaujolais, making them one of the leading owners of vineyards in the region. The total vineyard area covered by the Joseph Burrier vineyards is comprised of several prominent estates including Domaine Joseph Burrier and the famous Château Beauregard, which was been run by the family for 7 generations since it was established in 1854.
