Fresh, fruity aroma dominated by peach, white plum, and grapefruit notes, with touches of toasted hazelnut. Mineral on the palate, with plenty of volume, elegant acidity and lasting rich fruity aromas, ending with a fresh, pleasant aftertaste.

Cordillera Chardonnay has its origin in the Limarí Valley, which has a cool climate typical of the Chilean coast. This bright valley with its chalky soils, characterized by being deep clayey loam and alluvial terrain, as well as its maritime influence, has excellent conditions for growing the Chardonnay variety. After a light pressing, we ferment this wine in French oak barrels, achieving a wine with marked personality, freshness, and elegance.

In 1979 the Torres family purchased 100 hectares of vineyard in Maquehua, San Francisco Norte and Cordillera, together with a winery in the Curicó Valley. Miguel Torres brought with him his family’s long tradition of wine-making and over 140 years of company history. The Chilean Central Valley has an ideal climate for top quality viticulture. This Phylloxera-free region is dominated by the presence of the Andes, their peaks crowned with permanent snow. The difference in temperatures between day and night provides the optimum conditions for development of the grapes and increases their ability to retain their finest aromas.
