Pale straw in colour with a rose gold hue and brilliant clarity. A richly flavoured and appealing nose, featuring fresh Nashi, orange blossom and cinnamon spice. Often described as the perfect food wine, this Pinot Gris does not dissappoint as it seamlessly combines fresh pear and white peach with exotic spicy undertones of cinnamon and clove with a clean and balanced finish.
There are only a few vineyards in the Clare Valley cool enough to grow this style of Pinot Gris. Utilising high altitude sites in the sub appellation of Penwortham, the wine is crafted as a bright wine with varietal flavours and soft yet full texture making it perfectly adaptable to many cuisines or highly refreshing by itself.
Winemaker and proprietor Kevin Mitchell purchased the property of the same name in the hamlet of Penwortham in South Australia's picturesque Clare Valley. Hailing from a long line of wine grape growers, Kevin now had the opportunity to turn the vision of creating his own wine brand into a reality.
