The high altitude region of Gualtallary is recognized for its calcareous alluvial soils. As a result, BenMarco Expresivo is a lineal, fresh wine, with aromas of blackberries, pepper tree and violets. It stands out for its mineral notes, balanced natural acidity and firm tannins. Great aging potential.

Their Gualtallary estate -located in a complex geological area- is divided into two sub-regions named Monasterio and Albo. A deep soil study led us to the conclusion that the estate is made of 5 different soil profiles with a total of 21 plots with unique characteristics.

BenMarco’s aim to discover and to explore down to the last detail is what makes these wines unique. They are a pure expression of some of the finest, most complex and intriguing Argentinian terroirs, each of them carefully selected for their quality and their authentic characteristics and style.
