The complex bouquet is reminiscent of citrus fruits, white flowers and honey, wonderfully fresh and velvety balanced on the palate. The full and fresh fruit is joined by a fine hint of vanilla and cinnamon. In addition, this white has a discreet minerality and harmonious aftertaste.
Macigno del Chianti, soil commonly called Arenarie, composed by sands and rocks, well drained and furnished with little organic matter. Torricella is obtained from a vineyard located at more than 400 meters above sea level. 9 months of ageing in tonneaux (20% new oak) with frequent bâtonnage
Established in the Chianti Classico region at the Castello di Brolio in 1141, Barone Ricasoli is one of the four oldest wine estates in the world. With a history that dates back nearly a thousand years the story of Ricasoli has, not surprisingly, become closely interwoven with that of the region.
