Silky, fine tannins and lifted aromatics bring finesse and balance to a wine of serious structure and poise\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe grapes for this wine come from the 'Terraces' vineyard in Felton Road, Bannockburn. It is planted with predominantly Dijon clones (777,115 ,114 and 667). Multiple small ferments were completed with 0 – 40% whole bunches, resulting in a final blend with around 22% whole-bunch inclusion, contributing aromatic lift and fine tannin structure. Time on skins ranged from 18 to 28 days before the wine was pressed and transferred to fine-grain French oak barrels, 20% of which were new, for roughly 12 months of maturation\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cmeta charset=\"UTF-8\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWild Earth was founded in 1998 by Quintin Quider, an expatriate Californian who has spent many years living on New Zealand’s South Island.
