On the nose it shows generous aromas of ripe apricot and quince preserve, while the palate is full, concentrated with a long and layered finish.

The name 'Giallo d'Arles' pays tribute to Vincent van Gogh's favourite shade of yellow during his time in Arles - a vibrant colour that reflects the golden hues of the Greco grape at full ripeness. The wine is produced exclusively from a single 12-hectare Greco vineyard in Tufo, planted in 2001 at 500 metres above sea level, with south-west and south-east exposures. The vines are trained using the Guyot system on a vertical trellis and grow on clay-calcareous soils rich in the distinctive tufo stones that give the denomination its name, contributing to the wine's characteristic minerality, freshness, and precision.

The grapes are gently whole-cluster pressed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks (70%) and new oak barrels (30%). The wine is then aged on its fine lees in stainless steel for 4–6 months, adding lovely texture and complexity.

Professor Luigi Moio is one of the world’s leading academics in the field of Oenology.
