With sweet fruits and a rich, velvety texture, this delivers great depth and complexity. A rich and expressive wine with concentrated notes of red and black fruits, vanilla, black pepper and violet enveloped in powerful, yet smooth tannins, through to a long finish.

At the top of the steep Southwestern slopes of Koutsi, they cultivate Agiorgitiko vines with an eye towards the creation of a red wine of exceptional personality and great aging potential, aiming to take all the compounds needed from a very small amount of grapes.

The Ammonite symbol. The fossil of the Aegean Sea, whispering the ancient secrets of the Greek land, has travelled throughout the world carrying with it the name of Gaia Wines, along with Agiorgitiko and Assyrtiko. Gaia Wines was founded in 1994 by Yiannis Paraskevopoulos, Agriculturist from AUT and PhD in Enology from the University of Bordeaux III, and Leon Karatsalos Agriculturist from AUT. Both founders are examples of the Greek mindset of traveling and of gaining knowledge and experience, characteristics which are transformed into their wines, aiming to offer all wine lovers worldwide, the best possible result, each in their own unique way
