It is fruity and expressive on the nose with lemon curd and white blossom aromas. On the palate, the wine is well-balanced with ripe stone fruit flavours that carry through onto the long finish.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-body1\"\u003eThe fruit for this wine come from vineyards around the villages of Davayé and Solutré, with a north-easterly exposure and an altitude between 200 and 280 metres. The Chardonnay vines are rooted in clay-limestone soils. The Mâcon-Villages plot “Les Prés Cousins”, is one of the oldest vineyards in Davayé, with an average vine age of 30 years.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MuiTypography-root accordion_paragraphSection__v26kt MuiTypography-body1\"\u003eDomaine Corsin have made outstanding wines in Saint-Véran and Pouilly-Fuissé since 1864 and were among the first to label their wines as Pouilly-Fuissé and Mâcon Blanc. Today, sixth generation Jérémy Corsin is at the winemaking helm. Jérémy works alongside Edouard Parinet (of Château du Moulin-à-Vent and Domaine du Roc des Boutires fame) to run the business and manage the estate’s 14 hectares of Chardonnay vineyards, nine of which are in Saint-Véran.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-body1\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe grapes were harvested by hand before being gently pressed in a pneumatic press. This was followed by a cold fermentation in temperature-controlled, stainless-steel tanks.
