This vintage has a delicate bouquet of ripe stone fruit and pear aromas with a touch of stony minerality. The palate is full and complex with a balance between the fresh acidity, fruity flavours and the lasting minerality.

The vineyards are situated around the village of Davayé and the Chardonnay vines have a north-easterly exposure. Alternating gentle and steep slopes provides the 25-year-old vines with optimal exposure and good sunlight, aiding the maturity of the grapes. The soils consist of clay and limestone.

Domaine Corsin has established an excellent reputation for making wines in Saint-Véran and Pouilly-Fuissé since 1864. They were among the first to label wines as Pouilly-Fuissé and Mâcon Blanc. Today, the domaine is in its fifth generation, run by Jean-Jacques and Gilles Corsin who own 13.6 hectares of Chardonnay.
