Here soils are made of marl and limestone. The vineyards are located 250 - 300 metres above sea level and the vines are Guyot trained.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003cmeta charset=\"UTF-8\"\u003eThe grapes were destemmed and crushed on arrival at the winery. Fermentation took place in temperature-controlled, stainless-steel tanks between 22-28°C followed by maceration lasting for eight days. The wine was then transferred in concrete tanks until bottling to retain its natural freshness.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003cmeta charset=\"UTF-8\"\u003eRun by Luca Degani since 1995, the Cantina Valpantena is now one of Italy’s best co-operatives, with 650 hectares of vineyards that produce excellent quality fruit.
