Soils are calcareous and rocky, and vines are vertical shoot positioned and Guyot trained, with a density of 3,500 per hectare.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eCantina Diomede, which controls 200 hectares of vineyard, is based in northern Puglia, close to the town of Canosa.
