Barone Ricasoli Antico Feudo Della Trapolla 2020
Barone Ricasoli Antico Feudo Della Trapolla
Region: Tuscany, Italy
Bottle size: 75cl
Grape: Sangiovese 60%, Cabernet Sauvignon 25%, Merlot 15%
Sweet oak spice, cream, vanilla and white chocolate notes, toast, refined tannins. Beautifully harmonious wine with lovely lightness and freshness on the finish, and not at all heavy-handed
Named after the fortified castle that the Ricasoli family owned for many centuries, it also pays homage to history with its elegant label that shows the coat of arms of the original branch of Brolio.
Established in the Chianti Classico region at the Castello di Brolio in 1141, Barone Ricasoli is one of the four oldest wine estates in the world. With a history that dates back nearly a thousand years the story of Ricasoli has, not surprisingly, become closely interwoven with that of the region.
