This bright 100% Nerello Mascalese from lava sands presents its tasting strength and extraordinary aromas of incense and herbs, hibiscus and wild fennel. A luminous and lyrical wine which recounts without obstacles the character and refinement of great red mountain. The tannins of compact texture are extracted with elegance and delicious fragrance of roses.
The history of the volcano is marked by the eruptions which have shaped it. That of 1614 is legendary; it lasted for 10 years, the longest ever recorded. The vines which produce this wine grow on this actual lava flow.
